Scroll Airdrop will allocate 7% of SCR Token supply

Scroll, one of Ethereum's leading layer-2 scaling solutions, has just announced its first airdrop. The event will distribute 7% of the total supply of SCR tokens to participants.

The initiative seeks to reward key participants who have contributed to the growth of the Scroll protocol and ecosystem. This airdrop is an important milestone for the project, which has been gaining prominence among layer 2 solutions with zkEVM compatibility and an active developer community.

The team will distribute SCR tokens among four main groups, including over 570,000 on-chain participants. These participants will receive 5.5% of the total SCR supply, equivalent to 55 million tokens, as part of the Community Drop.

Additionally, more than 100 projects using the Scroll protocol will also receive rewards, with the aim of encouraging the continued development of the platform.

As per the announcement, the airdrop allocation reflects Scroll's commitment to its community and to advancing layer 2 technology on Ethereum.

“The airdrop will be a way to recognize those who helped build Scroll and strengthen our ecosystem,” said a project representative.
