Hamster Kombat reveals roadmap until 2025 and prepares new airdrops
The popular clicker game Hamster Kombat, available on Telegram, recently announced its plans for the end of 2024 and the year 2025. The main highlight of the new phase of the project is the launch of a Web3 gaming platform, which aims to expand the gaming offerings within the Hamster Kombat ecosystem.
On September 25, the game team revealed its new roadmap, detailing the next steps. For the last quarter of 2024, the goals include the integration of external payment systems, the launch of new games within the ecosystem and the introduction of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) as in-game assets.
Furthermore, the team highlighted that it is in a unique position, as it has a massive base of players and developers to build this new Web3 gaming platform.
Hamster Kombat Reveals Roadmap Details
Since its launch, Hamster Kombat has quickly gained a large user base, reaching 239 million players in its first 81 days of operation. To date, the game has surpassed the 300 million user mark.
However, only 131 million of those players — or 43% of the total — are eligible to participate in the highly anticipated token airdrop, the team announced on September 23. Additionally, the team revealed that it has banned 2.3 million accounts due to cheating.
One of the main challenges of Web3 games is maintaining user engagement after events such as airdrops. To this end, the Hamster Kombat team reported that it has strategies focused on player retention. One of the highlights is that 11.25% of the tokens distributed after the first season will be unlocked only 10 months after listing on exchanges. The expectation is that the value of these tokens will be comparable to that of the tokens initially released, given the rapid evolution of the project.
The team also stated that the focus will be on offering a value proposition within the gaming ecosystem, going beyond simple financial gain. Combining elements from the Web2 and Web3 worlds, Hamster Kombat aims to attract even more players with engaging content.
Another important point on the roadmap is the launch of a dedicated advertising network, scheduled for December 2024. The team will use the revenue from this network to buy back tokens on the market, distribute them as rewards, and perform token burns. The process aims to reduce the available supply, generating potential appreciation of the remaining tokens.
Additionally, plans for 2025 include the launch of an NFT marketplace, the holding of a competitive clan championship, and the second phase of the airdrop.
