Ethena Labs is the target of a front-end attack
The Ethena Labs platform has been targeted by a front-end attack detected by the Web3 security platform Blockaid. According to recent information, the attackers used an advanced version of the Inferno Drainer tool to compromise the website’s interface. This put logged-in users at risk.
The attack, which compromised Ethena Labs' domain name, prompted the company to temporarily disable its website. The goal was to prevent the attack from affecting more users.
In a statement, Ethena assured that user funds are safe. In addition, it stated that the protocol itself was not compromised, with the problem being restricted to the front-end (visual interface of the website). This means that the underlying code, responsible for the security of transactions and the management of digital assets, remained intact.
The company acted quickly to warn its user base not to interact with websites or apps that may be impersonating the legitimate Ethena interface. It also advised users to immediately disconnect their digital wallets and avoid signing any transactions until the situation is resolved.
